Italian GP,Monza

We are driving down for the GP this year & just wondering about access to the circuit,parking etc.

We are staying in Lugano for 2 nights, then plan to drive to the circuit,for Qualy and race.

I normally follow signs for Lesmo Esterno and park in in a field which is about 200yds from the closest gate which I think is gate D

Went last year, we sat in the g/stand @ second varinate. Had a nightmare trying to get find the official park and ride sites - the directions and signposting was typically Italian.

In the end we used an 'unofficial' car park site about a 5 minute walk from entrance D. The car park was on the same road as which the grand prix village lies but just around the corner. It was 10 or 15 euro for the day and was well worth paying for. If you have GA tickets get there really early as the Italians refuse to leave the track on Saturday and just camp out in the woods and on the free metal stands.
