375 BHP 1400cc Suzuki Hayabusa Supercharged
330 Kg
Carbon Chassis
Full Aero Package
0-100mph ~ 3.5 secs (on a flat road)

Sorry but I'm calling BS on that. A Veyron is 5 seconds? A full on 1000cc Superbike is 5.5 seconds and you say 3.5 seconds scratchchin

Its got 1136 bhp/tonne with considerably more contact patch than a super bike, can't watch the video as I'm at work but I'd imagine its on super sticky slicks too. A veyron has circa 500 bhp/tonne and road car tyres. Fag packet maths says its only 1.3g.

330KG is pretty light. Someone here can probably work out a theoretical 0 - 100 time based on the power and weight.

A Veyron weighs 2 tonnes. A bike wheelies at full throttle. Out and out power is not everything

Its also got 4wd and a DSG gearbox.

I think an F1 car is around the 4 second mark BTW. So if yours is quicker than that then well done.

If we are going down the school boy maths route its going to be less than 900 bhp / tonne with a driver and fluids on board.

Plus the transmission loss to the wheels is going to be a lot more than a superbike.

I'm not saying its not faster than a superbike but its not 2 seconds quicker and F1 car quick is it?

I forgot to mention that in this state the car is only geared to 130mph. Hopefully that will make more sense. Its a sprint hillclimb car not a Vmax superbike/car

I tried the stats on this calculator including a driver weight of 70kg:

Gives 0-100mph in 3.73 seconds, so it's not far off.

So you have four gear changes (at a guess) to get to 100mph? And still do it in 3.5 seconds. I'm tempted by a big cash bet that it wouldn't do it in 5 seconds.......

I reckon it's only 3 gear changes so maybe more like 4 seconds, but definitely under 5 seconds surely.

It is definately less than 5. Hillclimb cars are totally different to road cars and bikes, so there is no point trying to compare their relative performances

The F1 comparison is more relevant. And with you geared lower, lighter, and with possibly better traction (sticky tyre compound?). It doesn't seem unreasonable that you'd be on similar times.

From memory an F1 car and driver is minimum 660kg, so with an output of 750bhp for the F1 car, the power to weight will be about the same. The hillclimb car can benefit from less weight inertia from the getaway, shorter gearing and stickier tyres.

If an F1 car can do circa 4 seconds, less than that seems perfectly feasible.

Apologies, the minimum weight for an F1 car is actually 640kg, not that 20kgs will make too much difference.

BTW, who dropped oil the entire length of the course???

(at one point your wing picked up so much cement dust i thought for a sec your engine had let go ;-)

Not watched the vid yet (bl00dy work blocking the tube) but specs look really good! can i ask who built the chassis / bodywork? dont suppose you have seen Madmacs twin charged EVO 5 racer have you?...
