Thinking about going to this, but I'm not sure I can get the time off work, so don't want to pre-order tickets. Will be arriving early, so are there always plenty of tickets on the gate. It'll be my first time at one of these events and I'd hate to be stood outside listening because I can't get in

You won't have a problem getting in. The only time i've seen it really busy was a few years ago when Peugeot gave free tickets away.
I usually pre-order but last year i didn't bother. As i approached the gate i was given 2 free tickets by someone who had spares from a sponsor
