Nurburgring - VLN in an M3

This was my first dry race at the 'ring - VLN Aug 2011.

This incident ended the race (on my in lap)

I must have done 50 laps on my old PS2/GT4, but it just doesn't prepare you for the bumps and elevation changes.

Good work DJ. Scary red flag incident! You obviously had a good time, are you looking at a drive in the N24 in 2012 then?

N24 - it's all down to cash!.....24 kart race hour at Daytona in a few weeks - more my budget :-)

I'm pretty sure there was a fluid spill that caused the mayhem - I was just lucky.......

I did the Dmax 24hr last year but can't race in it this year due to other commitments, although I will try and make it for an hour or two as we are bringing quite a few teams.

I have always said that I wouldn't go back to the 'ring unless I was racing there. N24 being the end dream.
