What is the CSCC Future Classics series like?

Realise there are some older threads which are very positive but was wondering how the series is a few years on and also whether it is still novice friendly for a new race driver wannabe? Reason I ask is that I am thinking of converting (or rather asking someone else to convert) my current TVR wedge track car into race spec over the winter with a view to starting racing next season. Clearly TVR challenge would be an option but I like the idea of the variety with Future Classics which I suspect gives closer competition throughout the field providing enjoyment for those at the very bottom (as I no doubt would be). Would the TVR be suitable for this series? I realise one way to find out is to actually go to a race but I am unlikely to make either of the next two meets hence asking here. Thank you!
