I was sent this video by a friend of mine who asked me, and I have no clue so i'm appealing to someone's far great knowledge, what on Earth is going on in this video? The guys appears to have 2 brake pedals, and not being at all well-grounded in the field of super karts, this seems a little odd to me! Anyone able to help...?

I would have thought its clutch on the downshifts, but that just a guess! Come to think of it this is a useless post really.

Brake pedal on some gearbox karts is shaped like that to allow left foot braking, the clutch basically only being used at the start. Some karts though have the clutch lever on the gearshift. Probably driver preference has a lot to do with how the controls are arranged, also use of clutch during race may depend on the engine/clutch type. I can only speak for 125s as that's what I used to race.

Left pedal is the clutch. middle pedal is the brake and can be used by either left or right foot.
