Only a week away.
With the title sorted, second place is all to play for with Button, Alonso, Webber and Hamilton in with a shot.
It will be interesting to see if they've managed to build the city that is supposed to surround the track yet.
I think this race will either go to Button or Alonso.
Alonso must be the only driver able to be kinder to his tyres than Button.
I would like to see a Merc on the podium before the end of the season. Preferably Schumacher.
Maybe Team Lotus can get a point or two here.

Well, with the championship all wrapped up, will RedBull continue to push for Vettel wins, or will they look on pitiful Maaaark, and throw some scraps his way?
Hoping, again, for a Button win, and the race for second is again the main draw of this race. Surprised by the pace of Alonso, and Massa for that matter, in Japan. I wonder if they can carry that over?

No, they will support Seb for the wins, he wants to win as many races as possible to break as many records as possible etc incl fastest laps (when he's no chance of winning a race, he then goes for a fastest lap etc and even when he's winning sometimes he asks.......).However, I hope to see Lewis and Jenson on the podium...

The constructors is still up for grabs, and that's the one the teams really want. Anthony Davidson did say on Twitter yesterday the area around the track was a lot busier than last year so hopefully there will be more atmosphere there this year.
I think it'll be wet/dry race with Button winning again, Vettel 2nd and Alonso 3rd. Webber, Schumacher, Hamilton, Massa, Rosberg after them.

I personally think the Red Bull is still far ahead of the game and have been, relatively, holding back for the last few races to get their hands on the championship. Button & Vettel are on top form and should carry their momentum, Alonso is always lurking and has been getting faster and faster. Webber is either hit or miss but hasn't had a win all season. Hamilton has fire in his belly and well overdue a good race.

Now that they have, I don't expect that they will show how fast they can go either so that the other teams do not know how far behind they actually are!
I think Vettel has been doing this for almost every race this season too.

until they shread their tyres in the twisty bits and fall away to 7th/8th or so... would be my guess. They are surely 'best of the rest' behind the race winning teams. I'd expect normal service, with pole being almost certainly Red Bull (although hopefully not, getting far too boring) but the race likely to be close between the Red Bulls, McLarens and Alonso - as it has been for most of the year, depending how each of them get on with their tyres.
Does no one else feel a little short changed with regards to tyre management. I see Pirelli are bringing the soft and super soft to Korea and talk of it being extreme and a challenge to the teams.
