Where would Webber have gone?
Discussion
Seems like Webber got a lot of interest from other teams before re-signing with Red Bull.

But where would he have gone? Who would have been out?

Renault of Sauber. I think he could shine there. He won't get to McLaren, and is in Redbull. He could do well at Ferrari, I reckon, but I doubt he would want another number 2 role. Nope, number 1 experienced, talented driver at Renault or Sauber and he could up his stock considerably.

I think he is very comfortable right where he is and. I think Button would like a Red Bull place
Everyone would like a Red Bull seat !Last year Webber felt hard done by, as he felt the team favoured Vettel.
This year he hasn't had the speed to challenge at the front.
Call me cynical but I think he's just collecting the cash now. Another year or two will see him right, then he can retire.

The Times did have an article last week which suggested Ferrari were trying to get Vettel - so he may yet become the number 1 at RBR.
Imagine how that conversation would go:"Hi, Sebastion, its Stefano, do you want to lave the fastest can on the track and come and join the team with the thrid fastest car and be the second driver to a massive whinging t
t?""Errrr.....No"
