the orme will be pretty spectacular, used to live in llandudno, and i know its a pretty tough road with lots of little walls and steep drops into the sea!

ill be heading to sweet lamb, as its closer to where i live and some good speccy points too!

Thats where i was going to head for the saturday, sounds silly but how does it work? can spectators drive between stages, so you see them fly past more than once or is it once you watch a stage thats it? Just want to have a plan for what i can do whilst i am there to get the most out of the day.should be a few good speccy points too!

Being in Cardiff i'm going to find it harder to see anything this year. Though it still seems very odd that Park Ferme is in Cardiff... which is 1hr+ from the nearest stage now!?
What are the stages like around Brecon? are they worth a look? I don't want to go further than that, as i don't want to venture too far north.

Go to the Epynt ranges between LLandovery and Brecon on the Sunday and you get to see 2 stages for the price of 1 with just a very short walk between the stages
Yup - and they are great stages too. Smaller local rallies are awesome on them too.

shameless plug
Does anyone know if the cars will be in Cardiff at all? (and actually viewable). I know they finish here, but are there around at any other time? It says 'park ferme', but that sounds very like they wont be visible!
I'd like to see Kimi out on the stages, but am not sure i hold too much hope for him still being in by the Brecon area stages

I'm amazed they're making them drive to Cardiff every night, but they are! Mad. According to this you'll see them in Cardiff as they stop for interviews etc

There are detailed timetables and some basic road route maps on the competitor section of the Rally GB site, so you could see them in transit too

I'll probably just go to that then, as it's about a 2min walk from here!Hopefully we'll get some interesting Welsh weather!
With regards to thm being in cardiff, if you go early enough in the morning you'll be able to park up with the WRC cars in the multistory they use as parc ferme ( i did last year ) so you can see the drivers and have a bit of a look at the cars, from memory though it was something like 6 so an early start
some pics

and a car moving too!

Funny you should say that, i looked back at the images and as he went past me half the rear bumper was missing!
Solberg was probably the most imprssive driver to watch, a bit down on power to the works cars but total commitment, outside of the WRC entries i would say Mikkelson, was fantastic seeing him throw that skoda about
