Halfway through the chase and its still all to play for with only 86 points separating all the chase drivers. This is a plate track and drafting is the name of the game.

No nationwide this weekend, but the trucks had a close finish with Mike Wallace pushed over the line by Ron Hornaday, despite a strong challenge from Dillon & Busch.

Back to the cup race (starts around 7:15pm uk time).

Mark Martin on pole from Jimmie Johnson, team mates Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt are 5th & 6th.

Trevor Bayne had a good qualifying session up in 4th, he's going to need to buddy up with someone.

Montoya has an upturn in fortunes in 15th, Jamie Mac his teammate in a lowly 39th.

Speaking of lowly positions Kyle Busch finds himself all the way down in 34th but will have Logano to help him - you can bet those guys will be coming through the pack.

Premier Sports if you have it, I'm gonna go check to see if "RaceBuddy" is free for the cup races - it lets you watch online.

Failing that the usual streams can be found, especially if your name is justin.. whistle

According to the channel guide - it's Freeview for this weekend. If a non-subscriber could confirm...... have you got a picture??

The 3M Pre-Race Show is on at the moment - that too is billed as Freeview.

A shame Smoke didn't get a better result after running at the front for so long. These restrictor plate races are quite exciting - some hard hits to the wall though.

Thanks for the heads up, caught some of it in between the Gold Coast race. Love the end of these restrictor plate races, organised chaos!

The last 30 laps were pretty good, the late cautions totally screwed up the pairings.

The #48 didn't finish well, it is maybe a little too soon but he's gonna have to go some to make it 6 this year.

I hope Smoke can do it.

Martinsville next weekend!

I saw the last 50 laps or so of a very enjoyable race, won by just 0.019 seconds!

They should have listend to Junior and ran up front the whole time. leaving it to late to make a charge cost them.
