Discussion
The Hexham Historic Rally runs on Noveber 19th, bringing an exceptional variety of cars to the event including examples of Porsche, Lancia, Ford Cortina, Anglia and Escort, Clan, MGB, Lotus, Wolsely, Volvo, Triumph, Ferrari Dino and a Morris 10cwt van !!
The Hexham is one of the very few "Road" type of Historic rallies and features a 100 mile route in wildest Northumbria, an area not frequently used but which posesses some superb classic roads which, together with an almost total lack of traffic, makes it ideal rally territory.
The rally starts at 7:01pm from the picturesque village of Chollerford, situated in the North Tyne valley, adjacent to the World Heritage Site, Hadrian's Wall, the ptrol halt is at KNowesgate and the event finishes about 11:0pm back at Cholerford with the usual "Apre Rallye" supper in the village hall.
