British Grand Prix Tickets 2012

Looks like most tickets are now on sale. Called up as was after a particular seat/row/stand. Was then asked if it was a day or 3 day ticket I was after? When I replied 3 day I was told the seat I was after was only available for a Sunday only ticket.

Has anyone found this before? I always thought that tickets were sold on a first come first served basis. Managed to get a ticket that was only two seats away

That does seem odd as there is no allocated seating on Friday and Saturday.

Odd that they explain it like that? I was told my seat in luffield was only mine on Sunday as the Friday and Saturday I could Rome about as I had gold tickets and do could everyone else who had gold with Friday being a free for all.
