Delighted to report that a MEV Exocet driven by Jonathon Blake recorded fastest lap off the day. Brilliant driving by all the teams and great to see all teams completing the 12 hour endurance race.
Clip here of some of the action.

How many cars were in the race, it looked a bit empty from those clips. Those kit car things looked miles faster than everything else, so no wonder they got the fastest lap.

There were 26 cars, we only had two drivers who did the whole 12 hours betweem them, the other teams had up to 6 drivers. The circuit is over 3 miles long though so they were spread out at times.
When darkness fell it was weird. How they managed to keep up the pace is beyond me.
All teams finished too which is amazing considering most cars had been through a very busy racing season and some were showing signs of the hammering they had had. 12 hours on the rev limit with few problems just shows how good these Mazda engines are.
The control was very strict too. We got a 3 minute stop and go penalty as we did not quite stay for 3 minutes in the pits. We also got pulled in for another 3 minutes following a slight fuel spill.
The winning team were Paul Sheard racing in a MK3 MX5.
