Now the F1 is off to Sky Sports, what other championships can you follow live on TV/Freeview?

I know the BTCC is on ITV4, but what about the FIA GT1, British GT, American LM Series etc? I know they appear on Motors TV/euro sport sometimes but do they show the whole season?

Was thinking if we can get a list of series and dates then at least those of us who actually like to watch a whole race series wont miss out.

BTCC is all there is on Freeview and nothing on the BBC / ITV, etc. other than the odd Mobil 1 "The Grid" round up on at 4.00am every now and then.

If you upgrade Freeview to get access to Eurosport, they carry a few international series but I don't think these are live and not that regular.

Motors is good, extended highlights of all the GT series you mentioned and they show ALMS races live, extended V8 Supercar highlights also and loads of one make lesser known series.

And they're showing the Race of Champions this weekend.

FIA GT1 is streamed live on the web at: gt1world.com/
European GT3 is streamed live online at: http://gt3europe.com/
ALMS is also live online at: http://www.americanlemans.com/index.php (the ALMS stream is even PS3 browser friendly if you want to watch on a TV and don't have a computer hooked up. I believe the commentary on this stream is the same as that on Motors as well.)

Channel 4 do a motorsport program at silly o'clock in the morning occasionally. For some reason it comes under "British Formula 3" on youtube, but it has Formula Fords, rallycross and the VW Cup occasionally.

Dakar rallies on Eurosport from 1st January at about 10.00 pm (and probably at odd time in the morning and afternoon). Recommend this!

Bizarrely the Bloomberg channel, which usually does business stuff, has decent coverage of GT racing live in the season. Odd watching it with stock tickers at the bottom of the screen though.

Of course there's also Moto GP on BBC, highlights for the British Superbikes on ITV4, and possibly World Superbikes hidden somewhere on channel 4
