I'll be in LV on this weekend is it worth going? has anyone been or are you going.

we went a few years ago.it was a great day out.easy to get in and out of the track - especially compared to silverstone.
watching the "characters" in the stands was almost as interesting as the racing!

well worth it to see and hear a different kind of race and crowd.

i love vegas - where are you staying.

Staying at the Excalibur, I was there 17years ago and it was amazing then, can't wait to see all of the new hotels.

Prices are from $30 which seems very cheep, I may go on the Saturday to have a look at the 300 race, also what the neon garage.

Absolutely worth going - NASCAR is a spectacular event for the fans - in fact it puts all other motorsport to shame in terms of how much it is about entertaining the fans and making it a great day out. The facilities in LV are always good and its a great party atmosphere....having a beer during the race is positively encouraged!

Make sure you visit the Wynn Hotel and try to eat at the Wynn Steakhouse - the best imho.Book well ahead for it.

The restaurant at Paris overlooking the Bellagio fountains is worth a go - not the best food but ok prices and a great view.

Love Vegas and hugely jealous that you are able to tie in a race whilst there.

Well im going with people who want to play poker and are not into cars at all, were going to go on the friday practice just to get the flavor. I'll post some pics if I remember in 3 months.
