Which races live on BBC

Does anybody have a link or list which shows which F1 races will be shown live on BBC. Thanks

Does anybody know how much actual race footage[1] the BBC are going to be able to use in their highlights programs?

Between pre & post race analysis, qualifying roundup, grid run-down, and bits of podium and post-race press conference I could quite easily imagine half of a 90 minute highlight show being eaten up before (or after) we see any actual racing... :-(

For some of the races they won't need half an hour to show all the interesting bits.

Some bad choices in live races by the Beeb. Valencia for starters, Korea and Abu Dhabi just add to that. When they could have chosen Monza or Suzuka? Would have thought they'd have had the season opener too.
It is annoying now that I have a 32" TV to watch the F1 on, and I can't afford Sky, even if I did I have no desire whatsoever to give the Murdochs any money. Just hope someone streams it in good quality, like the guy whose NASCAR stream I watch. Hardly ever goes down, and in HD. Now all I need is to hook my laptop up to the TV, get myself surround sound and I'm laughing.

Good grief .... Canada .... one of the best races and it's highlights only....what a bunch of overpaid plonkers. Anyone would think they're trying to deliberately drive us into Sky's arms..

Singapore too, can't think of a truly spectacular race there, except Ferrari's comedy pit stop in 2008. Only reason they're showing that is for the "look, its dark and the cars are more shiny' factor.

Spain - maybe.
Monaco - yes
Europe - Christ, no
Britain - yes
Belgium - yes
Singapore - doubtful
Korea - erm, no.
Abu Dhabi - snooze
Brazil - yes.

Four races for me, next year. Thanks BBC, for freeing up my weekends.

As I understand it, the BBC didn't "choose" these per se.

They were "allocated" by BE's toadies.

Midweek motorsport (Radio Lemans) had an hilarious take on race pick meeting between the BBC and Sky a few months back. Think NFL Draft.

A yearly televised race pick meeting could be the biggest event in the sport! LOL
