Good riddance (with luck)

I liked the tub with the totty in it on top of the apartment block they showed on TV a few years back, but, you would have needed the totty, as precious little to watch on the track below.
I do sympathise, as it is a great city ,& so easy to wander in & out of the track from the city, hell, there is even a beach 5 min walk away.
If ever a re-profiling of a track was needed this is it. It could be a really super venue for a race, just we don't get much "racing" even with the DRS.
Keep it I say, great place !
just find a way to "modify" the circuit layout to enable overtaking.

Time for Bernie to do a runner with the money, I think the world is waking up to the fact he has robbed them blind this last decade or two.
So, already 3 races mentioned this week, all in Europe of course, Spa /Valencia / Barcelona, with Turkey gone & Korea feeling the pinch. But never mind Eh ? all the world wants to give Bernie whatever ludicrous amount he asks for.
Never mind Bernie, after Bahrain you could always pop down to Syria & hold an event there.
Oz, & Austin had their moments this last while too, is the gravy train finally drying out ?

Prior to Alonso ,it is amazing that there was ever a Spanish Grand Prix. I remember being stuck there in the early nineties trying to find a Channel covering whatever race it was I wanted to watch on the TV in a hotel (to no avail)
Both Barcelona & Valencia are events held in great cities (perfect for a weekend away, several nights on the p1ss AND a Grand Prix ! ) utterly ruined by the configuration of the circuit.
DRS/Kers can help, but finally a little sympathetic (I.E. intelligent ! ) modifying of "le trace" (as the Frogs would call it) would solve any negativity expressed here.
Having lived 75km from Montmelo for 8 years, how come I have only been to 1 Grand Prix there in that time ? (yet every year at Spa) although I made it to most of the tests there? the circuit should be asking why someone who has attended about 60 GP's can't be bothered to drive 75km to see one in his own backyard, & give some thought to "modifying" the circuit layout.
It ain't rocket science, same comments apply to Valencia, went to the 1st one, ain't going back anytime soon.

I see on Autosnort.com that Barcelona also wish to renegotiate their deal, and state that:
"There are contracts that are more expensive to maintain than to break,"
There may be NO races in Spain if they both decide to cash up and leg it.
If other countries all suddenly did the same, what would BCE make of it? Every promoter thumping the desk saying "well it's like this Bernie, $1M no more, take it or leave it"
The wellington would very much be on the other foot.
New countries wanting to break in would see the Bolt getting shafted by the people he once had bent over the desk with the raggy end of a pineapple shoved up their arse. They'd then tell him to poke his stupid demands for national debt level deals.
Ooooo I'd love to see it happen. Silly old sod with his penile dementia. (acting like an old cock!)
