Not sure if this has been discussed - but Sky will be showing GP2 and GP3 but not the Supercup race.

Which I guess means Eurosport will longer be showing GP2/3 and possibly not the Supercup races.

Any idea if it will be live? So we can watch gp3 then gp2 then f1 all in a row?

At least they will be on live and in full at the time stated in the schedules and not delayed highlights on at a different time than stated in the tv schedules due to a womens bat and ball game over-running.

Not too fussed about Gp3, but Gp2 is always worth a watch!

That's good news, I like both gp2 and gp3.

Hopefully that might also help some of our British young drivers hunting for sponsorship, that's potentially a big audience.

Exactly right Piglet - and maybe those Sky bashers will acknowledge the fact for a change. Well done Sky.

its a shame the supercups not being shown too, is probably the most exciting sports car series around in my opinion.

Dont Porsche themselves deal with the TV rights and stuff? They have their own online radio show for the Porsche Supercup rounds with pitlane reporters.

Really? Most races last year seemed like an expensive procession, even leaving the commentators to moan about it!

Its really making me thing about getting Sky now. I'm really not that bothered about 95% of the channels, just enough so I can have watch F1 and some other racing

If you do you will also find Motors TV is a free to view channel now, so 24hr Le Mans coverage in June. Plus all the motorsports they show.

Which package is that available through?

Was only really thinking of getting the entertainment package along with HD

I'm pretty sure it's completely free to view now, not part of any specific package. You get it no matter which basic single package you get from Sky I think, like Viva, LFC TV and Channel 5HD on Sky.

Between Motors TV, Eurosport and Sky F1 you have pretty much got every form of motorsport covered!

I believe the first Indycar race will be on Sky F1 too?

Aren't they trying to get the rights for next year?

They have the Indycar rights for 2012 & 2013, the rights are up for graps for 2014-2018 though.
I'm on Cable. Motors TV have live Nationwide Series races. Nothing I can see on cable for Sprint Cup this year.

Nascar Sprint Cup is on Premier Sports this year (for as long as they are in business)
