Hopefully it will push Williams back up closer to where they belong. I think having the Renault engine is a good move.
Setting aside other thoughts, isn't it nice to have a clear car number on the side of the car for once?
My only concern is the nose - it isn't ugliness that concerns me, it is the existence of something without it having a defined purpose. Red Bull have give their hump some purpose; the fact that Williams haven't seems to fly in the face of the Williams ethos, which is a shame. I'm sure it is smoothed out as best they can, but it doesn't seem as though they've gone the extra mile to find another use for it.

red bull seemed to be the exception in finding another use for the hump - every other team (except mclaren) are happy to keep the hump just because of the aero benefits towards the underside of the car, and the higher in-board suspension points. i don't think they have any disadvatage compared to the other teams they'll be fighting.My only concern is the nose - it isn't ugliness that concerns me, it is the existence of something without it having a defined purpose. as for the clear numbers i agree. however, don't get too used to it - their winter test livery always has this, only for it to disappear on the race livery.
It's a sad case even more this year that nearly all of the cars are running with little to no sponsorship on them. You'd think some companies would have money to spend on advertising, and I can't help thinking that F1 sponsorship would be fairly cheap at the moment for the coverage it gets.

They ran all last year with large numbers on the sidepods, didn't they? Although if they do snare a new title sponser their branding may well take up that space given that AT&T's old spot now sports the Embratel logo
