A bit more progress!

Picked the car up from JGR today and very pleased I am too! Mr Greenwood has done great work bringing all the technical bits up to scratch and S&D have done a great job with the bodywork and paint!

Its really looking like a race car again.

Track v Road will be putting the engine and drive train back in as well as a few other bits and it will be ready for a good shakedown.

Should look even better with the shiny black dymags and the decals on!

Supposed to have been there last Saturday but called off due to weather ,so it's been rescheduled for Sat 3rd March.
Im taking RV8 and John Seery's out with his car which might be a bit early for you Dave, but we're going to book something in the latter end of March as well.

Yeah, 3rd of March might be a bit too optimistic although it should be, at least, running by then. Later end of March will be more realistic I think and will give me time to sort out the nitty gritty bits. Still got to sort the front hubs out yet.

That would look good. I'm sure you will be fine, just be carefull at clearways at the first meet at Brands. I saw the vid of you spinning the tas there!

LOL.... I was getting a bit giddy trying to lap Alex in the peeing down rain on slicks on a muddy section of track. It was always going to end in tears It was on the last lap and I gathered it up and finished anyway so all was good.

Engine and drive train is now back in the car so just the plumbing and wiring to do now as well as a few other bits.

Perhaps we should stick the dreaded pirates black spot, or rather black numpty cross on the back of Dave's new car, since he's going up a class? Lol
