Prix editions international.

Just dug some of my old copy's out of the F1 mag Prix editions international, from the late 80s. Anyone else used to get this great mag?

Do you mean Grand Prix International?

If so, yes, I have boxes of them and IMO, yet to be surpassed.

I have the complete set - no other F1 magazine has ever come close to Grand Prix International. It was simply sublime with great articles & some superb photo's from what i recall.

My copies are safely tucked up in the loft.

Totally agree amazing mag mine are tucked away in the loft as well. I used to sell cigarettes by the single at school so I could buy them. I have the full set, the best by far.

I believe that this magazine went bust due to the high costs of production. The photographs and layout were far ahead of their time but back then F1 publications did not have the backing from sponsors and publishing houses. A stunning monthly, I have a few in storage boxes and it is a shame that more art directors, sponsors and publishers don;t work together to put together a truly global magazine and website that is lifestyle not the rubbish that is F1 magazine or whatever it is called.

I also have the full set and been meaning to put them on EBay,does any PH want them ??? It was a great mag` and as said it must have cost a fortune to produce.If I remember some of the time it was WRC as well as Grand Prix.

I picked up a load of these (and quite a few Autosports) from 1988/89 and at a car boot sale last year for £3!
