They may had done something clever with the nose, hence maybe why they were cagey about unveiling when everyone else did?

In truth, I don't think any of the cars, with the exception of McLaren and possibly Lotus, are particularly good looking, but the drop nose is certainly less noticable on other cars.

Exagerated-looking step probably because of the now-tradition slim Merc nose.

Last years was already a bit stepped as their suspension is mounted high* compared to the very tappered nose.

A bit of happenstance to have all the cars perform the same would be fun.

*well highish, but is an evolution of last years schnoz.

From the fronn it looks quite nice, the bits sticking up over the front suspension make it look like a step from the side, not like the lego Ferrari anyway!

I hate the merc livery - the worst on the grid - not quite silver and neither blue nor green. It's about time they changed it.


In fact there hasn't been any new liveries this year - boring.

I think Merc are about to unveil their new multi million dollar sponsorship deal from Morphy Richards steam irons.

The promo will be that on the grid instead of the mechanics messing around with tyre warmers they will iron Schumacher's race suit on top of that ironing board they call an aerodynamic nose.

Well it wins the prize for the ugliest version of the stepped nose. Was Ross brawn on holiday when they designed the front end and all the designers went on the piss that week and came in and knocked this one up with a monster hangover.

Based on the theory that if it looks right it goes right I can not see this troubling the podium this year. It make the Lego-Land styled Ferrari look good.

Anyone like to hazard a guess if Merc really do have some sort of trick front wing, ahead of tomorrows unveiling? They do seem to be going to some length to point out that they really Dont.
