I would have thought one of the Whinlatter stages run from about 8:45......park in the FC Visitor centre which will be open serving refeshments/ food, etc

They only come through once, unlike in years gone by when they returned in the afternoon...

I went to SS1 last year which was out the back of the Visitors Centre, took about 20mins to walk up a graded trail to get to the stage.
Left on to the stage then about a 15 min walk to get to a decent RH haipin,

Assuming they use the same spectator parking as last year, then the stage is a very short walk from the car park in Greystoke....they also run the stage twice.

You need to get there early to get a decent parking spot. smile
