Far as the media "digging", they'd have to be very good to find something that isn't already known. Besides, what makes you think Bernie will give a toss ?

I don't think there is much to find out.
Ok, the way SLEC and Bambino are structured is interesting - but its taken this long for the taxman to even take a passing interest, but its not like the guy is murdering kids in their bed or anything.
He just likes making money, more than actually having the money itself I think.

Last time I looked, tax fraud is usually of interest to tax authorities. Time will tell if BE escapes forver the clutches of HMRC - or some other tax authority.I don't think there is much to find out.

HMRC cannot get a conviction of Harry Redknapp who is 2% of the man Bernie is, they won't get anybody. 14 years ago I was involved with a company which had an interest in F1 and we found 39 different companies used by Bernie and most of those in Ireland, Eastern Europe and the Carribean. Today unless you have connections in Croatia HMRC wont get anywhere.

It depends on which point of view you take I suppose. They seem daft enough to believe they have a fulfilling life, which I suppose in essence they must have if that is what they hope for. Some women feel that nirvana is a lot of handbags. Well good on them. They are happy so under their own definition might be successful.What about from Bernie's point of view? I'm not sure he's overly impressed by them.
I have often wondered how much of his fortune he would have given to be of more normal height. Just a foot taller say. And then there's his hair of course.
The fact remains that his daughters have done nothing to earn the £millions they have at their disposal. At a time when there's 3m unemployed in this country, some of whom, despite what the DM says, must have worked hard throughout their lives, such displays of unearned income might well disgust.
The question that goes through my mind when I see some of these ultra rich people is whether I would swop my life for theirs. Despite the fact that, like most of us I suppose, I'd love a bit more money, the exercise normally stops me being jealous. Where the rich people seem to have cracked it, have a good life and are productive, I still don't feel jealous. The thought that goes through my mind is 'good on you, mate. Well done.'
With his daughters, the question is whether I would swop my two for his. That is a beneficial intellectual exercise as it makes me laugh and, further, appreciate how lucky I am.
Successful is easy to prove. They must have tried something and succeeded, i.e. not been given something, not had it handed to them on a plate, not got to some position purely because of whom their father is. The Queen got to here position through little effort yet I feel has been successful because of the way she had performed a difficult role.
So what have these women tried? What effort have they had to make?
