I went to see my parents at the weekend and had a rummage around. I was looking for photos I took of BTCC meetings at Oulton park in the 90s.

But what I found were a bunch of (mostly signed) posters.

Example:

I think I'll get some of them framed. But I thought you guys might like to see them for a bit of nostalgia.

Turns out. Posters rolled up for the last 20 years are a bit set in their ways. I'm going to have to find some way of flattening them long enough to measure them for frames!

SO cool! I think I had all of these. Probably signed too.

I think when I have kids, I'm going to put this kind of stuff away for them 'on their behalf'!

Ah but the mouse mat is unique!

I'll do some more later. Need more space to roll them out really. And avoid the cats walking on them! yikes

Nice nostalgia there, a lot of it from 94. I've got loads of them rolled up in tubes too, some of them the worse for wear sadly. Have the late Kieth O'dor's signature in the Knockhill programme, but this is the only other 1994 autograph I've got:

I'm a bit of a hoarder and have far too many old posters, magazines, race programmes, autograph cards and models........

I love the retro feel of mid-90's motorsport, all the sponsors that you don't see anymore (or as much) that have lay outside your conscienceness for years, but feel oddly familiar: Q8 Oils, Grundig, Vauxhall Masterfit etc etc. This, plus the graphic design style/fashion of the time, really typifies the era for me.

I have got - carefully stored flat! - all of my Goodyear Racing calendars from the 70's & 80's.

SWMBO says they're junk & should be thrown away.

They aren't & they won't be!
