Road cars are built in another building constructed since the overhead pic was taken. It's connected to the MTC by a tunnel. Very cool.
MTC is also home to McLaren Applied Technologies, which builds all sort of clever non-motorsport stuff using the expertise gleaned from F1, such as a carbon fibre mountain bike and Amy Williams's skeleton bob.

assuming that is taken in the late 60s they were successfully racing more cars (F1 + CanAm) back then

Near Heathrow (Colnbrook - I think).

McLaren often fielded more than two cars in a GP (as did other teams back then).

The fun died when Bruce died. Denny changed that day aswell.

As for Ron, well there are 2 schools of thought when it stopped being fun for Ron, but there are very definately 2 periods of "Ron" at Macca.

The first is he changed when Senna died. Although no longer at Macca, Ron basically regarded Senna as the only other one as OCD as he was in the game. The second is that it was the day Max became FIA head honcho. Baiting and beating Max went from being a fun game to a serious full time job to combat him. Ron 2 is very much not Ron 1, his OCD has got much worse over time aswell.

Nice photo, good to see it's still there and in use. You could imagine the cars coming out of the garage doors on the right now.

Here's another place (no photo as it's off road) the wood shed where Tyrrell started - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=club+green+ockham&...

Hadn't realised how close Tyrell's shed was to Wisley Airfield.
