Who would you have as your two drivers?

Personally I think that Alonso and Button are a level above the rest of the field at the moment. They are the only two complete drivers out there. Hamilton seems to be getting some consistency back which is good, but at the moment I still rate Button more than him.

I'd also go with that as well, although with Kobi as a backup driver, (for no other reason as I feel guilty leaving him out)

I was about to suggest the same! I would probably want Kimi in the mix as well somehow. Actually you guys take Alonso and Button, I'll take Kobi, Kimi, the McLaren, Newey and Brawn.

Button (cool, calm, collected, consistent) and Kobiashi (BANZAI!). You'll have the results from the former, and immense entertainment from the latter. Sorted.

Adrian Newey designed car, with the team run by Brawn. Mercedes engine, Mclaren chassis.

Oh yeah, and Massa for tea boy, Raikonnen organising the post-race pissup.

Alonso and Hamilton.

They are a class above the rest in my opinion and are also good at getting every last inch of performance out of the car, even if it isn't the best on the grid.

Last year I noticed Martin Brundle described the grid as "the best drivers in the world" on a couple of occasions. Is that actually true? Are the lower placed drivers actually "better" than Franchitti for example or just better funded?

I genuinely think McLaren have the best possible balance at the moment.

Contrasting driving styles for any particular scenario, both basically equivalent in pace (Hamilton quicker over one lap, JB seems to have the edge in the race currently), harmonious (public at least) relationship.

Alonso is excellent, but a bit of a firecracker without a definate No. 2, Vettel is the same really - a bit of a cry baby!

I agree, McLaren have the best of both IMO. Alonso is a great driver but I just dont like him - he wouldn't be in my team!!

Button and Kobayashi. I'd go for a mix of experience and youth. Plus this way I wouldn't have a team with 2 big ego's wanting 'number 1' status.
