How many Runners have DL1s?
Dataloggers DL1
Mandatory for B (atleast) next year, we are using the "must be able to carry and power one" plan for this year. Since the Series may not buy one as all must have them in 2013, who has one that is available as a loaner?
I have one
Timbo has one
Leigh has one *
Graham has one *
Is it possible to RENT one from any of the above (*3 or 4 makes sense) so that we can get an accurate figure?
Leigh, how about it? IF you aren't running this year?

i am happy to lend mine out, i am at brands on the 2nd and hopefully someone will be there to tell me what to do so they can gather info on the car ie coast downs and the like, once they have the info on mine i can go back to the dyno for optimum set-up and get the lead ballast out of the car.

Tim.

Couldn't help myself

Hi andy,
As i have one, as you know, i was going to use it in both my cars and towards that end i have had to buy the data plug and the power lead from race technology for both cars.If you want to put the logger onto a few cars they will have to have the data lead and the power lead wired in as i underrstand it,just a cost to get the leads, wiring them in is no biggy as i got a mate to do mine
ps mine can be used when i'm not using it.

Tim I'll take the day off work and come down to Brands to help you out. As long as its working ok and you have a weight for your Tuscan we should be able to run the numbers through no problem.regards
Tim.
I put one in my Chim a couple of years ago and ran it up the bypass and with educated guess figures for the weight, the numbers came out pretty well cock on with my dyno sheet so they are accurate when you do it properly.

Good, that'll be ineteresting as Tim can't have more than 325 atw at a Tonne.
Given that the engine will be tight and about 15-20 ponies down when fresh (360?), he should come in under to start with with some losses (50bhp). His power will go up though but should still end up there or there abouts!

Same for you DC, powerwise (380), but since you have been carrying about 4st more than me over the last 4 seasons...you'll be fine too I guess!

What can mine be then? 350bhp (loose) = 925kg = 325bhp/tonne
Crikey!!I best get back on my diet
