As title , took the RV8 out yesterday for shake down run at Oulton and tried some in car footage.
It's quiet on here so i thought i'd post it, as the bugger actually went well and lasted the day !

BTW,try and ignore..

1) Rear pads clacking like a Blackpool Tram - on the To Do list.
2) Wind noise - first time using camera need some finnesing.
3) Excessive Northernness of accent - didn't know it was this bad!
3) Childish paddock behaviour at the end.

Good to see you Darren,

Sorry I didn't catch up later; missed catch up with Fred too at the stables.

See you caught me on video during my in lap though!

Classic DAZ!!!!

My brake pads were doing exactly the same as yours...thought that I broke the engine when I first heard it!

Hope the weather is good on the 29th of May. Looking forward to that one. Just got to make sure I resolve the issues with the car.

Great video Darren - the opposition ignores at its peril just how fast a RV8 Tuscan is. Eat your hearts out Ferrari and assorted other road cars!

Now it's actually doing what it says on the tin, it's entered into a BARC single header Sports/Saloons race at Oulton (naturally hehe ) 19th May.

Then it's Brands for the propper stuff with you lot thumbup

(Graham V and Chanty i'll see you on 29th May)

Tell me about it, the paddock drive of shame , people looking over when they heard the clacking pads laugh

Me too, see you at OP. Have you entered the non-championship race also ?

Just the qually + 20 min race Neil.
Im treating it as a test day fot the car (so not using new tyres) and me.. A good oppurtunity to get back in racing mode before Brands.
John Seery has entered as well in his Tuscan, but might be in his bike engined Sylva thingy if the TVR isn't ready.

Have you entered the BARC non champ ? and more importantly are at BH with DTEC ?
