I cant believe how long it took the emergency services to get too this car, what would have happened if it had caught fire?? And this is at Laguna Seca on what looks like a proper race meet, shocking

Can't believe there isn't a Marshalling point on the outside of the Corkscrew!
Question- why dod American Marshalls always drive slowly out to accidents, in European and Asian race series the car/bike is often still rolling to a halt when armies of Orange clad marshalls are flowing over the tyres, extinguishers in hand, literally falling over each other to reach the cars?

That video proves that British marshals are the best in the world.
Us Aussie marshals are not too bad either

OP, this will really have you fuming then (it certainly made me mad):

The porsche driver was left to extract himself whilst the marshall ambled over and put out the burning grass, whilst the Ferrari driver was left in an inferno for something like 45 seconds (nomex lasts, what, 15 secs?) before being eventually assisted by another driver out and left on the floor by himself by the marshalls
