Not just me, Dave too, we had a great weekend racing old mates and meeting new ones!! Great racing and I'm still on a high!! Thanks to Dave for keeping the Cerb going as always!! And to Reedy and the team for getting the series to a really fast and widely competitive race grid again! Brilliant!

The only request I have is a translator for Geoff so that we can enjoy each others company and bridge the North/South divide rather than smile politely pretending we understand!! jester

Cheers

Well its great to have quality guys back in the paddock.
Sorely missed when ya left, we're richer for having you (two) back.

Have to say it was a great weekends racing and it hasn't been as good for a while. Several friends stated as much from the grandstands in fact one of my mates is now looking for a GpA car!
It should also be mentioned that you and Mike added considerably to the paddock and in particular, the races.

Just to add to the comments above, I had planned to pop over for a couple of hours here and there to get the job done and watch the races, but I ended up staying the whole weekend (must bring a sleeping bag next time). I'd forgotten how much fun the whole weekend can be - without even having a car to race. I'll do my absolute best to get down to the next one - may I suggest a bbq next time for all to chat around like we used to do? I feel the weekend has given be a bit of a kick up the arse and have gone out and found a fully functioning 4.2 to drop in my Tuscan in the next couple of weeks to get it running. There's still a lot to get done, but I hope to have the car running (albeit with less power for now) sooner rather than later.. Who knows, maybe I'll even make it out for a race this year smile

Brilliant weekend again and it was good to meet you John as we missed each other at rock last year. The Cerb and you, look in the Video's, so far to be fast and very competative so will give some of the regulars a good race this year, excellant.Don't forget the MG's are coming as well.Mike allways good to have you & your dad with us and this year, once i have my gearbox sorted you will not find it so easy to drive through the field, thus making you and your car work a little/lot harder biggrin

Good to meet you Johnny - some of the best racing I've had this weekend too - against you!! Looking forward to Sillystone driving

Perry - I heard in paddock (and can't recall from whom) that the MGs will not be joining us this year after all. IIRC it was said that they will be allowed to race where they used to after all. biggrin

Well that will be a shame Keith as i was looking forward to the dust up that the MG's might have coursed in the pack.

Proper fun, really enjoyed it! Nothing like close racing to really get the heart pumping!! Plus a few streaks of oil of course!!

Perry, they may still be out with us yet! BCV8 have still banned the big arches this year, and anyone would need to convert their cars (more expensive than just putting a set of standard wings back on too!). Hopefully a couple will be out at Silverstone to play. There are other places for them to race though (CSCC Modsports thing and various others).

Good to have the Cerb guys back though - the more on the track the better!! smile
