we're going to Spa this year for the first time, yay. but not having much luck with finding a campsite that's within walking distance to the circuit ( and not to expensive) 30mins walk would be fine.

i think there was a thread here but i can't seem to find it, but i think it was based more on hotels

so anyone have any places to look up , i tried one called Camping L'Eau Rouge but it seems they are fully booked :/

cheers ever hopeful john

Head towards the circuit in the La Source direction and there is plenty beside the roads, though tis worth a good look around first. Both times we have camped we have been in the large one opposite the Francorchamps Racing Hotel and its been fairly good.

Hi Ally

So it won't be an issue just to turn up on the Thursday and find somewhere (even though that thought will make Mrs turbo give me that "look")

Dale, we woulnd't say no to a party on a campsite i'm gussing it will be techno so i'll pack our glow sticksbiggrin

the cost seems high about 165 and i'm guessing that is each? which is more than the weekend general admission :/

now the ferry crossing as we are just west of london i guess Dover to Calais would be the best bet?

Thanks for the link.
we've already booked onto a site in Malmedy which should only be a 15min journey to the circuit, has anyone stayed there?

also now booked on the ferry from Dover to Calais on Thursday morning 730am crossing smile

I camped on circuit and hated it. It's all bonfires and loud techno music. Facilities are crap also - one tap, hardly any loos and rubbish showers.

I'm sorry for the brevity but the only pro was location
