DC's grid walk....
Discussion
I have to say, it was very good and also I think it helps people are looking out for him doing it too.
I laughed out loud twice...I liked telling the mechanics off who were shielding a car, what they were hiding. "Nothing, we're just standing here..."
"Well get on with some work, you're not paid to stand around!"
Excellent.

This was the first time I'd watched the Beeb's coverage in full rather than Sky's offering.
It was much better and DC's grid walk was a highlight rather than Brundle's always being a bit cringey.
The bit with the camera man haring off towards the grid girl was very funny.
Back to the BBC for me when they have it live.

Funny. I watched the BBC this weekend as I was at my brother's, who doesn't have the F1 package. I thought DC's grid walk was like seeing a stand-in perform Hamlet in David Tennant's place, and I'm looking forward to getting back to the comfort of a Brundle grid walk. I thought DC's "you're not paid to stand around" was cringeworthy.
It's good that they seem to cater to different tastes then.

I've always liked M Brundle a lot, but now actually prefer DC; he's just that tiny bit sharper and can be very funny.
Yes I'm the same, I thought no one could replace MB but I now prefer the light hearted DC.Didn't think much of him when he was in his "aren't Red Bull great" era, but he seems to have got out of that now and is a pleasure to watch.

For reasons I can't quite put my finger on, over Euro 2012 Mark Lawrenson me of a footballing Martin Brundle.
It was only after England dropped out that i noticed the whole world jumped on Lawrenson for being a miserable f*cker, so maybe Brundle is too?
Personally, I'll take the miserable f*ckers ; ). Much more my taste.
