Early scores semm to favour hamilton - but, would ge be interested? He's in for a pay cut where he is, ands merc have deeper pockets - but can he win there?

Mercedes is still an inconsistent package and until the car is genuinely front of grid material, it's too hard to tell just how good (or not) a job, the drivers are doing.

If nothing else, Schumacher is ideal of giving accurate feedback on what the car is up to. Brilliant development driver.

Hamilton. One more year with Schumi's development input might be nice but if they shuffle the rules again it might all be irrelevant to the car that comes after he retires. Of those listed, Hamilton IMO is the one to have, a proven winner with lots of his career still ahead of him.

He's driven brilliantly this year but bar Valencia his results just haven't shown it.

I would be looking at how to make the car more reliable. Stick with Schumacher..he is driving very well..Monaco and the podium at Valencia means he still is capable of getting the job done. The clumsy rusty form of 2010 has gone. But I feel PDR will replace him for 2014.

I went for Di Resta, but IMO would be hard pushed between him and Perez. Both have showed they are capable of a good drive and both are determined. I'd give either of them a shot in the Mercedes to see what they can do.
