Hi all, sorry if this is a bit of a similar post to one I put in general gassing !

I Was planning to go to silverstone for qualifying and race day, but messed up and never got parking - looks like it would have been a waste of time now anyway.

The question is, I now plan to get a lift up on Sunday, get as close as I can and walk rest - seems like many do the same. Having never done it before could those that have or are knowledgeable about Silverstone, suggest the best approach? I have heard a43 is a car park on race day so was wondering if there were any top tips on roads to use etc? Also on exit is there a good road to get picked up on that avoids one way system and a less than 2hr queue in car to leave?

Many thanks for any advice offered...

If you can take your bike with you that would be the best bet. We're staying at a b&b about 9 miles from the circuit. Was very satisfying cycling past the massive traffic jams. No problem taking bike into circuit either.
