Now showing on Sky Sports channel. The cars look stunning in HD.

Sorry, but Simon Taylor's voice really pisses me off.

I'm amazed at how slow the cars appear to be going though.

Have to agree. I watched the '88 review and it seemed so dull due to how the programme was presented.

Or years of mythbuilding by the Senna v Prost fans, and stories about the season as a whole have warped peoples memory of the season?

88 was rather tedious. McLaren won 15 out of 16 races. It was the last year of turbos so there were effectively two different F1 rules being run.

I was never a massive fan of the turbo era. The cars were impressive. The races often less so. They did blow up spectacularly though smile

All seasons from 1981 are the property of the F1 rights holders and should be available as official FIA DVDs (originally videos). I cannot think of any reason why there shoulod be a problem with 1992.

Pre 1981 there was no single TV rights holder so the record of earliers GPs is far more patchy. Also, before about 1978, not all GPs were covered by TV and, even if they were, no recording was made or kept.

Those were the days!

90,91 on tomorrow I think thumbup

I thought 92 was on last time round, could be wrong of course, but looking at the schedules, 92 is not on and jumps to '93 on Sunday.

91 is on at the minute.

The car shapes and liveries are so, so much better than current cars.

Tracks are more interesting too.

I would watch it however for some reason sky isn't working &'they don't know why. Tossers.
