WOW...serious, legendary metal in there...

They'll all go for silly money. Any predications on a fully restored 935 like that?

What an amazing find. Find it hard to believe that the 92 Le Mans winner is sat there in such a poor state of repair. Sacrelige to leave such superb cars to rot like that.

935's, 962's, Carrera GTS etc just seemingly abandoned. & as for that Stratos.......

Less "barn find", more "Hey Pierre, let's have a look at the other buildings on this property where this race team stores some cars".

Exactly - not a barn find at all. Just the outbuildings of a race team.

I'm sure I've seen that Matra at Goodwood.

There was a Peugeot 905 at Silverstone yesterday that didn't run.....maybe they have been selling them off cheaply!!!

After a look at Team Europe workshops, we explored adjacent barns which hide even more extraordinary cars for competition in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. A true Cave of Ali Baba where these mechanical monsters are quietly waiting to return to the track.

I'm sure I'm teaching granny to suck eggs but there are several Matras sports prototypes active in historic racing at the moment. That has CER 2009 stickers on it as well as Richard Mille and EFG so suspect it has been at Classic Le Mans and CER in recent years.

I would be extremely surprised if it wasn't this MS670, which I saw at Classic Le Mans in 2010.

I just thought people would be interested in the photos so apologise if you found the title mis-leading.
As this the motorsport forum I'll give you a drink to say sorry.
