At long last we got a FANTASTIC result with the RV8 car running properly yesterday.I shared the car with Phillip my Mechanic for the future classic's race and won our class by a country mile and came 5th overall.Lap times on 888's were consistant 53/54's.In the Saloon verses sportscar race i had an excellant race long battle with a Jaguar D type replicar nose to tail all the way, beating him into 6th place. The video's should be well worth watching if they have come out, will post them up soon

Well done Perry , you were due a a good result.
I find that one good weekend restores faith and makes it all worthwhile ,even after a run of dissapointments.

CSCC Future classics is pretty strict Ivor. You would have to go back to the original silhouette and dump the turbos. They wouldn't have my Taz because of the bonnet bulge and the triple carbs.

Hi Ivor you may get it in via tin tops not future classic's.Graham has done a lot of background work with the CSCC he may be best to comment on this.Dave is right about them been strict about what they let run in Future Classic's.I passed again after been checked by the very nice eligability scrutineer at the weekend,it is policed constantly
