Hope F1 do something for Zanardi at Monza......

What a true inspiration to all. Lets hope F1 makes a deal of it this weekend...not sure how, but this guy is just amazing in mind, body and spirit.

Why would they? Zanardi was never much cop in F1.

The Indy lot are far more likely to say or do something, he was much more one of "theirs" than he was F1.

Because it would be a nice gesture to maybe have some stickers on the cars of congratulations... its not about "not being much cop" in F1 but about celebrating someone who was injured in motorsport who is an inspiration.....
the fact he's Italian and its at Monza is why i wonder if they will do something to honour his acheivement.....thats my point.

Here's a quick way to answer this question: ask yourself "Will it make F1 or Bernie, money?"

If you cant think of a way to acknowledge him that will contribute cashola, its not going to happen. Particularly if it messes with the TV schedule.

Agreed..... even if say a driver had a sticker on their car or helmet...

I supose its cause i have been inspired by Alex's story since i saw an interview about him racing WTCC. Since then i have followed his progress and maybe expecting a big out pouring of praise for him at Monza is me being hopeful as he has inspired me...

Nothing stopping the teams themselves having something on the cars or drivers on their helmets. The motorsport community, even when it comes to F1, is closer than people realise.
