F1 Spa 2013 - Advice Needed

We are planning to go to the Belgian GP next year, but we've never been to a Grand Prix (we have been regular Le Mans 24hr visitors).

So what's the word for us F1 virgins, re:-

1) hotels/accommodation (Mme Le Pop won't camp)
2) Getting there and parking near the circuit etc
3) Nearby towns/off-circuit events etc
4) Getting tickets
5) Anything else useful??

All advice gratefully accepted

1) Chateau Bleu - I wouldn't stay anywhere else now. It's mega!
2) Drive and park in vert.
3) Stavelot museum?
4) Grandstand Motorsports (other operators are available).

Having skimmed Chevron's write up of his trip I'm not too surprised it was: /end thread! What a trip! Bit beyond my scope this time though.

camped at circuit, found amenties to be fair

Cheers for taking the time to have a quick skim through. I must try and finish off the tale of the trip before I forget it all

Currently planning 2013's jaunt - Bathurst 1000 and Aus MotoGP. I can feel a giant pain in the wallet already...
