Ayrton In A Brabham
Discussion
Just bought the latest issue of F1 Racing magazine & skimmed through to the article regarding Senna's test drive in a BT52B at Paul Ricard wa back in 1983.
Just a thought - I wonder how successful Ayrton would have been in a Brabham had Mr f
kwit, sorry Piquet (I dislike him intensely) not vetoed the idea.
I haven't read the article in full however it seems as though he was on the pace right from the start & left a lasting impression.
Another one of those 'if only' moments from the depths of F1 history.

I expect Prost would have avoided a lot of agro, as the situation would have gone nuclear earlier! Except as the other half would ahve been Piquet it would probably have been worse.Just a thought - I wonder how successful Ayrton would have been in a Brabham had Mr f

A battle for the hearts and minds of Brazil!
I would be surprised if he did any more there than he did at Lotus. The 1983 championship - maybe - in his maiden season, but more likely he would have been taking points away from Piquet and Prost would have been champion instead. Speaking of which, I wonder what Warwick would have done in a Lotus had Senna not vetoed the idea?
