Having a brain fade going back a few years... a televised F3 race from Crystal Palace around 1971 (?) - two cars collided ending up in an out of car punch up. Anyone remember the drivers involved? I have the names Dave Morgan and James Hunt but I could be totally wrong.
Any help appreciated!

I do love it at the end when blokes in tweed jackets are strolling across the track waving at F3 cars telling them to slow down.

Won't someone think of the H&S execs?!

hehe

Watched that all the way through. Although I'd known about that race I'd never seen it before. Wasn't it exiting?

Second that comment as you could see some fantastic battles of the GP top drivers in their respective F2 cars.
Loved it when unknown Austrian driver turned with a private Brabham and blew every one away.
Jack Sears going thru North tower in a Galaxy was a sight to behold!

Surprisingly almost all of it lot of it remains (part of the front straight grassed over and the stadium partly covering the back straight.

And if you go to an HSCC meeting you can still see some of the F3 cars from Crystal Palace still being raced hard. Go to Cadwell and it even feels like 1970- no debris barriers, no runoff- splendid!
