Racing Sim

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good racing simulator that actually has the tracks we will be racing next year. Like Christian it is going to be a steep learning curve for me - in fact almost vertical as I have even less experience on these tracks - hence wanting to get some sort of handle on them before qualifying! I have had a look and found things such as IRacing and RFactor but am guessing some of you may have experience and be able to give me your words of wisdom?

Looking forward to improving on my first race and hopefully seeing a little less of the Clerk of the Course!

Rfactor probably the simplest to get all the circuits on if you've got a reasonable spec pc. You really want a decent wheel and pedal setup,

I run a g25 wheel but usually with the ps3 and a selection of games

So I have got myself a decent steering wheel, gear-stick and pedal set-up - I'm running rFactor as my simulator an have managed to download most of the UK tracks I'll be racing this year.

It's already proving very useful and I think the realism took my dad somewhat by surprise when he had a go last weekend!!

Now I have found and downloaded a Tuscan challenge mod, so my question is - is anyone else out there running rFactor and is there already an online Tuscan challenge race series I can join or does anyone fancy racing? I'm still quite new so not sure exactly how to set-up an online race but it can't be that hard!!
