Raikkonen's hundred percent finishing in 2012

As we all know, Kimi completed every single race in 2012. Is this unprecedented?

If not unprecedented, did any previous 100% finisher have a better season than Kimi in terms of number of points-scoring races (Kimi scored everywhere but China)?

Points system changed, was 10-6-4-3-2-1, now 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1

Using the 2012 scoring system for the 2002 season Michael scored 380 vs Kimis 207.
Using the 2002 scoring system for the 2012 season Kimi would of scored 51 vs Michaels 144.

If I can ever find the time, it would be interesting to review all the previous seasons' results using the current scoring system, to see what difference it would have made to who won each championship. I'm thinking in particular of 1984 when Prost lost it by 1/2 a point...

I'm sure that's been done before. Irrelevant though, who knows if someone might have gone for an overtake - or not - because of the amount they had to gain? I.e. You'd drive according to the number of points available?

Raikkonen did not complete every race this year.

He was lapped in Brazil, so did not complete the full race distance.

As mentioned, only Michael Schumacher has finished every race in one season, in 2002.

Although he didn't complete every race LAP, Raikkonen did complete every race. Just because you're a lap down doesn't mean you aren't classified as a finisher.

Seem to remember Montiero and Heidfeld finishing all races in seasons too.

Just looked and Nick finished all races in 2008. Montiero was all but one near the end in 2005.

So just Schumi in 2002, and Heidfeld in 2008 have 100% records with kimi.

I believe Eddie Irvine would also be a WDC.

EDIT: from checking above he would have been (in 1999) with any set of regs from 2003 onwards.
