How long before he's "asked" to cut his hair really short... seems to be a requirement of any driver at McLaren. (could be wrong tho)

I do hope he does well, just not quite convinced yet. Would be nice to see the guy get some good results.

I guess the plan is Button to carry on, while Perez gets up to speed. Then in a few years time once Button reture's he will be replaced by Nick De Vries.

I hear he's gelling well with his teammate already, asked what his thinks of JB being the defacto team leader he responded along the lines of "I'll be very disapointed to be behind him on points at the end of the season".

I heard from another forum that Mclaren were surprised at Perez's fitness levels.

I heard a few months ago he had some way to go to get up to a Lewis/Jenson fitness level. I'm sure he's been working hard since the season finished though, doubt he's one to slack off at all.

I heard they were surprised how poor his fitness was - Whitmarsh definitely said he "had a long way to go" at some point.
