Change of direction!
Discussion
Hi
Due to a change of direction in my collection I have decided that as much as I love my Tuscan (EX "Shorty's")
I have decided to concentrate the colllection on the "Wedges" only, apart from my Cerbera as that's the ultimate road going TVR!
So if anybody wants to have a chat give me an e-mail!

Thats a big statement Andy
, surprised your selling so quick as i got the impression from your previous posts you where intent on saving a racing Tuscan?
I might know an interested party could you give some more info on the car?

As I said in the post I have decided to concentrate my collection to just "Wedges" if you want to know more info on the car etc e-mail me via the forum!

That's a shame and surprising tbh
But things change and fully appreciate that....see where you are with the Cerbera same here....
Thing is you have a cracking ,challenge car there ...let's hope that she ends up with someone who will share and appreciate what they have...
Be good to talk ...you have my number when it suits...we will be supporting wedgefest with a wwm tug o war team by the look of things....

Ive got to admit, it would be good to see this car back racing with us (especialy if kept in it's original colour scheme).
HiYes if it does go back racing then it would be nice if it was keeped in it colour scheme!
Yes the number is incorrect it should be 88!
Then what do I do with the new engine?

New engine? Where'd that come from? Is it standard spec? Looks like a show engine
Hi I use it as a show engine,
It was on the TVRCC stand at the NEC last November.
I am reliable informed its a Standard race engine. Which has never been fitted in a car!
The exhaust on the engine are a road set moded for show purposes!

Hi Graham
Yes picked up a Trident as a resto project later last year. I have got my 350SE and 280iFHC on the go at present! Followed by a 350iS2 to do then the Trident, unless a deal with a SEAC comes along which means it will be early next year before I start on it!

Cool I'll have to pop down and have a mooch at the collection with my camera, I quite fancy a trident, as a wedge fan i need one in my collection ( well to be fair preferably a tvr trident) together with a ferrari 400 and a Am Lagonda
Graham I agree a TVR Trident would be the one to have, but as there were only 4 with one in the UK and one in the USA the other two are in Beligum or Holland so A Trident Venturer is the next best thing.
You can pop over to look at the collection at any time as can any PH or TVR fan!
Andy
I assume that was to differentiate it from the TVR, or maybe the pop ups proved a problem.
iirc there is another version with a nose like yours but twin round lights either side..
at least we now know where the idea for the range rover vents came from.
what chassis and engine does your have

My car is a Trident Venturer, which is powered by a Ford V6 (Essex) engine. the chassis is a stretch TR6 one. My car is in very original condition and is one of the last three made.
It was last on the road in 78.
One of the resons for it being taken off the road was because the last owner was stopped for speeding, doing 105mph whilist towing a speedboat!
