Am trying to find a copy of the Challenge regs from 1989 or 1990.
We have an idea how to beat the Porsches 964 in the Youngtimer Trophy race series where the cut off date is 1990.
The problem is that the Tuscan was only homologated by the FIA in 1992?????
I need a strong case because the car is almost banned before it's even presented!
Thanks
Bert

If you haven't already try John Reid at Grantura Engineering/Readman Racing ( www.readmanracing.co.uk )who's the DTEC series owner and former TVR Motorsport Director who may be able to help you. biggrin

Many thanks. That's already a start.
Whether it will be sufficient I don't know because the Tuscan scares a lot of people for the moment.

Have you got a finished car or are you re-building one - any pics ?

I've dug out this outline spec sheet from 1990 to start with..

Many thanks. A good start.
I haven't decided for the car yet since a few people object.
But the cut-off is in any case 1990.
Biggest problem is that the Tuscan never had an FIA homologation in 89/90.

My application to race the Tuscan in the Belgian Historic Championship has been rejected.
They need proof that the roll cage was homologated because they have problems with the extension on the hoop/drivers side.

When the car was launched (and first tested), it did not have the drivers hoop extension, this was added hurriedly at the first race in the championship.
