F1 Force India Launch 2013
Discussion
Thought someone might have started a thread by now but no one has so heres a picture from earlier at Silverstone, the sun came out and it was nice to see an F1 car in the pits and out on track. The team did a great job getting it on track rather than us all just looking at it, I can confirm their car does actually run and looks, sounds and smells (hot F1 car smell, nothing like it) fantastic !! Good luck Paul !!

I wonder how much they want for the second seat? Am thinking well over £10 million per season with corporate backing.
The hope is to hold out and find the right driver/package for a longer contact to provide stability to build upon over the coming seasons. Paul will be on his own next week in Jerez but maybe not in Catalunya, who knows......Word on the street is that Bianchi has the gig.
He was the reserve driver in 2012 and used the car eight times and was typically ~1 sec off Hulks pace.
Ideally he would have been a reserve driver for this season had Hulk not left but being part of the Ferrari Driver Academy it is believed a deal is being agreed involving Ferrari engines for 2014.
One would assume such a deal would out-weigh the option of going for Senna or Sutil, if they were even offered Mercedes turbo engines.
Unfortunately expect to see Force India fall down the pecking order this season as I cannot see them having the same budget that they have enjoyed over recent times. It's potentially a sinking ship for Di Resta who may only have a gut-shot at landing a Ferrari seat.

The reason I said that I think it's Senna is this:

Look closely at te picture - excuse the quality. Is a tweet from DiResta that was promptly removed...

Now found out it may have been a hoax organised by a Brazillian reporter...http://twitter.com/#!/GridKings/status/29766419261...
