Silverstone classsic July 2013 - Hotels?

Does anyone have suggestions of any decent hotels nearby Silverstone?

Its a 20 minute drive away, but we always stay at The Hub in Milton Keynes - cheap hotels, and lots of bars and places to eat.

have you considered the on site 'snoozebox' ? I know they look like portakabins but i beleive they are a bit more luxurious

I'd imagine it would be like sleeping in a sunbed with the lamps removed, like one of those Japanese capsule hotels. Theyre tiny!

Some people i know have stayed in them at Goodwood and they said they were great.

I tend to stay NW of Silverstone up near Byfield and Priors Marston in whatever B and B I can find- so far all have been utterly brilliant.Lovely pubs and best of all is the drive in- glorious countryside and deserted back roads which bring you out in the middle of Silverstone Village. Running in convoy to the circuit with fellow guests at B and B in a Maserati Khamsin and a 65 Shelby Mustang was one of the highlights in 2011. Beats Milton Keynes any day!
