Class B Info Needed
Discussion
Hi Tim .. don't really know what the plans are right now .. the car is being readied for going out but I don't think cliff has decided yet on where to put it. I've put an engine together but we're pushing the little 3.6 further than anyone else has done so if it blows in pre-season tests it won't be racing anywhere
It's built to run in class B but could go in a couple of other race series. We will see what testing brings first though! Fingers crossed. Engine is on the engine dyno this week.

basic install is easy.
needs to be flat and central to the car. needs power and the gps ariel plugging in and your good to go.
although to make the most of it you want an rpm feed at least and then as much as you can. ive got lambda and alll mynecu outputs, need to add steering angle and a brake switch ideally to mine.
itsn't a cheap bit of kit but it is good and worth spending the time on, it will makemyou faster ifmyou use it properly.

Thanks Chaps, once weve overcome this data logger hurdle, the car should be ready to go - running a Griff 500 road engine with 72mm Plenum , so i dont think we'll be troubling the upper limts of the PTW regs.
Jules YHM shortly.
Tim, Im going to try and get in a bit Sports/Saloon action at Oulton with the purple car and try out the trick Plate Diff that we fitted for DTEC this season

Darren Hi,
Sorry to hear you are going in "B" as i was looking forward to the dust up again this year in "A" with you.Perhaps i should drop down also as there arn't many B cars it could be some good racing to be had in B
I reckon B could be really competitive ;-) but we dont want too many hot shoes or I'll have to buy some new tyres !!!Sorry to hear you are going in "B" as i was looking forward to the dust up again this year in "A" with you.Perhaps i should drop down also as there arn't many B cars it could be some good racing to be had in B
